Scientific Research Company has two TRUMPF and one Mitsubishi high-speed flying-optic laser cutters that deliver maximum productivity and accuracy across a wide range of materials. These high-performance machines have become an industry standard, minimize material waste, and feature dual shuttle tables, a 5' × 10' table size, and up to 5,000 watts of power.
Our lineup also includes a Mitsubishi ML3015GX-F40 4000-watt fiber laser with a 5'x10' bed, paired with the MC Machinery Systems FSC3015 Smartflex Rapid Tower for automated load/unload and reliable “lights-out” cutting.
Versatility Meets Control.
SRC can process mild steel up to 1", stainless steel up to 3/4", and aluminum up to 1/2" thick. These are speedy machines with excellent cut quality. We use oxygen and nitrogen as assist gas but in many lighter gauge mild steel applications, we cut with shop air resulting in a cost savings to our customers.
We use SigmaNest CAD / Nesting software offering sophisticated, intelligent nesting capabilities allowing for maximum material utilization and complete control over the entire cutting process. We can import parts from most major CAD system.
